Brochure—Branding for the Orange County One-Stop Center

This is a 6-panel brochure (front side) that I designed for the branding for the Orange County One-Stop Center. I used different color variations (taken from the logo colors) for the background colors and kept the theme of the shell texture background for each brochure. I wanted each brochure to have the same design but be a little different by just switching out the colors and by using different photos to convey the message of each brochure. On the cover, there are actually two photos that are duplicated. One photo was the original photo in which I placed in InDesign on the bottom layer. I then worked on the duplicate photo in Photoshop and masked out the background and just kept the people in the photo and I saved it as a transparent photo (psd). I then placed that photo in InDesign on top of the original photo.

Branding—Brochure

This is a 6-panel brochure "On-the Job Training Program" I designed for part of the rebranding for the Orange County One-Stop Center. The brochure was designed in InDesign. I wanted to tie in all the colors from the logo and bring in the shell texture from the flier design. This is the front side of the brochure.

Branding—Flier

This is a flier I designed for the new branding. I selected this photo to represent the emotions one might feel on their job search. Also, the photo represents diversity, age, and gender variations. Keeping with a look and feel of the coast, I took a photo of sea shells, placed it into InDesign. I placed a blue color over the shell layer with a transparency of 65%. I wanted to give the effect that you were looking through the ocean water and it gave the flier a little texture for the background. To me, it also gives it a calming effect. The photo I selected came from Thinkstock.com. "If you were on a job search, could you relate to someone in the photo?" And, that's where the Orange County One-Stop Center comes in. They help all people on their job search!

Branding—Stationery

This is the project I'm currently working on for branding for the Orange County One-Stop Center. Letterhead, envelope, and business card. The client wanted a coastal look and feel. I designed a few logos and the abstract stop sign was chosen. The stop sign was created in Adobe Illustrator and I made a cross bar over the stop sign--then I went into the paths and divided the paths into four sections and then I colored each section individually. I then went into the 3-D filter effects and created the abstract effect you see. Also, I added a number "1" pointing in the direction of the orange portion of the stop sign that represents the Orange County One-Stop. Can you see the #1? The green symbolizes "people", the purple symbolizes "businesses", and the blue symbolizes "partnerships", the orange symbolizes "The Orange County One Stop". Waiting to hear back for final approval.
